#1 Fugitive Emissions
Helium Leak Tight:
No other
fluid connector (flanged or threaded) is capable of passing
helium leak testing anywhere close to the level of a LOKRING
fitting.
In fact,
the fitting meets all the criteria of a welded connection,
except that no heat is required to make the connection.
LOKRING
has completed helium leak testing at laboratories in Northern
California (including Lawrence Livermore Laboratory). Equipment
with higher leak rate sensitivity is found at the DLDS Inc.
laboratory in Fremont, CA. As noted previously, using helium,
mass spectrometers, and equipment with a sensitivity of
2 x 10" scc/sec, the DDLDS leak detection lab determined
the Lokring fitting has 100% helium gas integrity. (For
reference: LOKRING fittings have sealed helium gas to a
leak rate spec of 2 x 10 to the -11 standard cubic centimeters
per second). |
